How young are “Young” Professionals?
Our members range between the ages of 22 and 40.

Do I have to be a Professional?
We use the term broadly. The only real requirement is that you want to join other like-minded New Yorkers at Young Professional events, meetings or social gatherings.

Where does my money go?
Your contributions go to support the NYCLU’s critical programs in many areas.

Why become a member of the NYCLU Young Professionals?
In addition to becoming an automatic card-carrying member of the NYCLU & ACLU, your membership gives you discounts to NYCLU YP events and helps build a new community of New Yorkers supporting civil liberties.

When will I be charged?
We process credit cards on the 15th of the month or the first business day after if the 15th is a Saturday or Sunday.

Can I change my donation?
Yes, you can increase your monthly giving amount at any time by calling (212) 607-3354 or sending an email to kkole@nyclu.org.

Can I cancel?
Yes. You can discontinue your membership at anytime by calling (212) 607-3354 or emailing kkole@nyclu.org.

Will I get a receipt?
Once a month, we will send you a donation acknowledgement letter.
