Jonathan Horn is an attorney in private practice. For more than 20 years, the primary focus of his practice has been entertainment law, with a particular concentration in the music industry. He represents musicians, composers, producers, managers, journalists, novelists, record companies, production companies, entrepreneurs and others involved in the arts and in the media in a broad array of matters.

In recent years, an increasing portion of Horn’s professional time has been devoted to general practice issues and he has represented a variety of small and medium sized businesses outside the entertainment industry. He also has a background in civil litigation, having spent the first years of his career as a corporate and commercial litigator. During that period, he handled cases, pro bono, for the ACLU Children’s Rights Project. He also represented a Florida death row inmate in his applications for post-conviction relief.

Horn is married to Michele Singer. They have two daughters, ages five and 10. Horn is also a singer and a guitar player. His primary passion – after family, work and the NYCLU – is playing music.
