Immigration Reform. Who Cares?

Here at NYCLU HQ we are so excited to launch our brand new web project, “Immigration Reform. Who cares?” The interactive map features New Yorkers from across the state and from every background speaking out about why they care about immigration reform.

The NYCLU teamed up with some awesome photojournalism students at the Rochester Institute of Technology who spent some of their holiday breaks fanning out across the state to speak with New York residents about immigration reform.

Their work shows that supporters of immigration reform are citizens, immigrants, white, brown, black, young, old, upstate, downstate, and all over New York. They’re us!

But we’re not done yet. We want to hear why you support comprehensive immigration reform. Add your voice today and join the loud chorus of New Yorkers demanding immigration reform that protects civil rights and liberties this year.
