The Suffolk County Chapter will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook. Joshua Colangelo-Bryan, an international human rights lawyer who has represented a number of detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, is the keynote speaker. Josh has also served on the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, where he particpated in the prosecution of war crimes and terrorism cases. Before that, he performed post-conflict humanitarian aid work in the Balkans. In addition to the keynote address, the meeting will feature a review of the chapter's work and the election of board members. | ||
