Candlelight Vigil in Lower Manhattan to support religious freedom

The NYCLU and our partners in the New York Neighbors for American Values coalition are hosting a candlight vigil in Lower Manhattan on Sept. 10 to support religious freedom and the rights of Muslim Americans to build a community center at 51 Park Place.
7:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 Intersection of Church Street and Park Place
Please wear white and bring candles and American flags, but no signs. Our program will include music and remarks from faith leaders and elected officials. Please wear white and invite your friends and neighbors.
