The NYCLU’s campus chapters, which consist of high school, college, and law school groups across the state, are a key part of the NYCLU’s outreach and advocacy work. As key supporters of civil liberties in communities across the state, campus groups help the NYCLU promote civil liberties education and serve as civil liberties defenders at their campuses.
Campus chapters have access to NYCLU resources including speakers, materials (pins, shirts, flyers, etc.), internship opportunities, and of course access to up-to-date civil liberties information and news. The campus chapters enjoy a unique status as recognized parts of the NYCLU/ACLU while still remaining independent organizations.
