Civil Liberties Discussion Series
The NYCLU Civil Liberties Discussion Series takes place from 7 – 8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Each session consists of two parts: a guest speaker and open discussion.
This month the NYCLU’s Civil Liberties Discussion Series event will focus on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) rights. Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. at our office at 125 Broad St., 19th floor. Pizza and drinks will be provided to get the discussion going.
Lead experts from the NYCLU and the Empire State Pride Agenda will be discussing three important bills that we are working to pass in the Legislature this year: the Marriage Fairness Bill, the Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) and the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Bill (GENDA).
Please join us Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. in our offices at 125 Broad St., 19th floor.
Following the presentation, NYCLU staff will lead a discussion with the speakers and attendees. Pizza and drinks will be provided to get the discussion going.
Please make sure to RSVP by sending an email to ebraudy@nyclu.org or calling 212-607-3361.
