Third Annual PSA Film Festival Winners Announced

Third Annual PSA Film Festival Winners Announced

The chapter held the third annual PSA Film Festival on June 8 at the Little Theater in Rochester. The event is part of our efforts to engage area youth and educate them about their rights.

We drew a nice crowd, which viewed a record number of contest entries – submitted by students from area high schools as well as a group of home-schooled children.

This year we added a category for Best Short Film to give students an opportunity to explore the importance of civil rights and liberties in their lives.

We are exploring the possibility of having the submissions broadcast by local public access television stations and already looking forward to next year’s festival.
