Join the NYCLU's Suffolk County Chapter at its annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 14 to learn what you can do to help end the climate of fear pervading the county's immigrant community.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Heidi Beirich, director of research and special projects for the Southern Poverty Law Center. The center recently released Climate of Fear: Latino Immigrants in Suffolk County NY, a report documenting biased-based attacks on the county's Latino community and the local government's role in encouraging hostility toward immigrants.

Dr. Beirich helps run the SPLC’s Intelligence Project, which tracks the acvtivity of radical rightwing groups in the country.
