The deadline has passed to register to vote in the November 4, 2008 election. You can still register to vote in the state and local elections in 2009.
How to Register to Vote
There are a number of ways you can register to vote:
- Pick up a registration form at the post office, local library, Department of Motor Vehicles, or your county board of elections office. Complete the form, sign it, and mail it to your county board of elections office.
- Download a registration form below and mail the completed form to your county board of elections office. Be sure to sign and date your form!
- Register online with the State Board of Elections. Click here.
Re-register to vote if you move or change your name.
Find Your Polling Place
Once you are registered to vote, you can vote at your local polling place on Election Day. Your polling place should be listed in the materials you receive from the State Board of Elections confirming that you are registered to vote.
You can also call your county board of elections to find out where you vote.
