Charlotte Pope

Charlotte Pope is an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) sponsored by the Venture Justice Fund. While in law school, Charlotte participated in the Public Defenders Clinic, was a recipient of a Sorensen Center Fellowship, and interned with the NYCLU Education Policy Center, Advancement Project, and Urban Justice Center Free to Be Youth Project. Also during law school, Charlotte worked as the Co-Director of Teachers Unite where they supported educator organizing against New York City’s school-prison nexus. Charlotte holds a JD from CUNY School of Law, EdM from Teachers College, and BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
