Claire Molholm
Claire Molholm is a Staff Attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union. Claire first joined the NYCLU as a Legal Fellow focusing on immigrants’ rights and jail conditions. Before returning as a staff attorney, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Judge Jinsook Ohta of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and Judges Richard A. Paez and Dorothy W. Nelson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. During law school, Claire was committed to serving the public interest, interning with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, Brooklyn Defender Services, East Bay Community Law Center, the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, and the Office of the State Public Defender of California. She earned her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. in Politics from Oberlin College.
