Elizabeth Gyori
Elizabeth Gyori is a Staff Attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union. Prior to joining the NYCLU, Elizabeth was a Staff Attorney at Disability Rights Advocates, where she worked on intersectional impact litigation concerning disability rights. Before her time at DRA, she was a William J. Brennan Fellow at the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project, where she focused on First and Fourth Amendment issues, and a Skadden Fellow/Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC, where she worked to protect tenants’ rights, especially in public housing developments facing privatization in NYC. Elizabeth served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Judge Jenny Rivera of the New York Court of Appeals. She earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
