Eryka Anabell Clarke

Eryka Anabell Clarke is the Administrative Assistant for the Education Policy and Racial Justice Centers at NYCLU. Eryka Anabell graduated with a Masters of Education from Harvard, specializing in strategic litigation, education policy, and data analysis, with research on the constitutional right to education and HBCU underfunding. As an avid HBCU advocate, she earned her BA in Political Science from Howard University in 2023.
Throughout her academic career, Eryka Anabell has worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, the Queens’ District Attorney’s Office, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Office of the New York State Attorney General, and the U.S. Senate HELP Committee under the leadership of Senator Patty Murray on the Education Policy team. In addition, Eryka Anabell is the COO of HBCU Imprint, Inc., a non-profit organization for first-generation students at HBCUs across the country.
