Jonathan

Jonathan is a senior at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and a leader at the Teen Activist Project. As a son of Vietnamese refugees raised in Queens, he has seen the impact of systemic oppression on his family and community. Witnessing the over-policing within his school and the rising threats of deportation in his community, Jonathan became empowered to take action. He hopes to continue leading initiatives within the community organizing committee and work collaboratively with other impacted teens.
