Julian Morales

Julian Morales (he/him), Senior Housing Strategist, joins NYCLU to support the organization on how to engage within the housing movement in NYS. He is part of the team that is ensuring that NYCLU works closely with organizations on the ground and following the lead of long-standing housing groups working in BIPOC communities. Julian has worked for various organizing groups, such as New York Communities for Change (NYCC) and Good Old Lower East Side (GOLES). He has also worked inside of municipal government for a local City Council Member and the City Council Speaker. Julian comes to NYCLU with a wealth of experience in community organizing, strategic planning, coalition building, and public policy. Julian is a father of 4, and in his limited free time, is an avid sports fanatic, rooting for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA and indulging in Fantasy Football every fall.
