Quinn Carroll

Quinn Carroll is the Youth Programs Manager for the Education Policy Center at the New York Civil Liberties Union. They oversee the organization’s statewide youth engagement efforts, focusing on education access, LGBTQIA+ rights, and the school-to-prison pipeline. As the Youth Programs Manager, Quinn builds curriculum for NYCLU’s Youth Programs and engages students through organizing, public speaking, lobbying, and coordinating legislative advocacy efforts to ensure that young people’s voices are included in key policymaking decisions.

Before joining NYCLU, Quinn worked as a Community Prevention Specialist where they organized and facilitated sexual violence prevention programming for K-12 schools across Western New York. Prior to this, they led several research projects as a Project Coordinator, examining risk factors of sexual violence among college students and post-traumatic stress disorder in adolescents at the University at Buffalo.

Quinn holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University at Buffalo, where they also earned a Master’s in Behavioral Neuroscience. They are a licensed social worker in New York State (LMSW) and their research, published in multiple academic journals, focuses on sexual violence prevention.
