Amicus Brief: Williams v. State of New York

The New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) filed an amicus brief in NY State Supreme Court regarding the effect of the Equal Rights Amendment’s enactment and its enforceability after the ERA’s passage expanded constitutional equality rights and protected certain newly-enumerated categories of people from discrimination.
