Coe v. Blanche
The New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU), the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and Lambda Legal filed a federal class action lawsuit to challenge the Attorney General’s and U.S. Department of Justice’s efforts to compel healthcare institutions in NYC, including NYU Langone Hospitals, to provide sensitive health information and identities of transgender young people who received gender-affirming care between the years 2020 and 2026.
As bold as the spirit of New York, we are the NYCLU.
