Amy Belsher is a senior staff attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union focusing on immigration issues. Prior to joining the NYCLU in 2019, Belsher was a law clerk to the Honorable Margo K. Brodie of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She has also worked as a litigation associate at Cooley LLP and Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where she litigated commercial matters as well as a wide range of pro bono matters involving civil liberties and immigration. Belsher earned her B.A. and J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
