Whether at home or in the streets, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating and honoring pride this year.
Protect Trans Rights
Take action to protect TGNCNBI people in jails and prisons.
TGNCNBI people in the New York State carceral system regularly face vicious physical, verbal, and sexual harassment and they are nearly ten times more likely to be sexually assaulted than the general prison population.
Tell lawmakers to save lives by protecting TGNCNBI people in jails and prisons.
Act for Reproductive Justice
Take action and know your rights.
Abortion rights are queer rights. With the Supreme Court poised to rescind the critical protections of Roe v. Wade, New York must go further to break down the barriers to abortion that still exist in our state and ensure meaningful access for anyone who needs it. Lawmakers must ensure protections for patients and providers, increase funding and access to care, and pass an Equality Amendment to enshrine protection from discrimination – including for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers – in our State Constitution.
Find information about your legal rights to abortion and reproductive care, details about insurance coverage requirements, and links to information on what to know before seeking care.
Join Us in the Streets
March and celebrate with us across New York.
The NYCLU will be on the ground across New York State throughout June. Find us a Pride event near you.
We will distribute "know your rights" materials at Pride events and our protest monitors will be at marches to support your right to celebrate and march without police intimidation or violence.
Celebrate from Home
Participate in Pride from home with our Pride playlist and posters.
If you're not marching, you can still show your pride by downloading and printing a "Trans People Belong" or "Pride is Still Protest" sign and displaying it in your window.
With your help, we've created the ultimate Pride playlist. Press play and listen along with us.
