NYC Film Screening: 12th & Delaware

Join the NYCLU and New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn on Monday, Jan. 31 for a screening of 12th & Delaware, a new documentary that offers a rare inside look at the battles over abortion rights being waged on the street corners of small-town America -- in particular, one street corner that is home to an abortion clinic and an anti-abortion pregnancy center.

A panel discussion moderated by Sabrina Shulman, political director of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, will follow the film. The panel will feature:

Council Member Julissa Ferreras, chair of the Committee on Women's Issues>

Balin Anderson, Planned Parenthood of New York City

Kelly Dadin, National Institute for Reproductive Health

Jordan Goldberg, Center for Reproductive Rights

The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at NYU Casa Italiana, 24 West 12th Street (between 5th and 6th Aves.). Event space is very limited. Please RSVP to events@council.nyc.gov or 212.788.5613. You must RSVP to be admitted.
