The NYCLU works all year to protect and promote the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender New Yorkers. Now we want to celebrate, too.
The Transgender Resource Center of Long Island (TRCLI) is holding the first annual Long Island Equality March and LGBTQIA Pride Picnic in Sayville, New York on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Join the NYCLU at the Long Island Rail Road parking lot, located at Depot St. and Green Ave. across from the Sayville train station at 11:30am, where all registered participants must check in with a representative from TRCLI.
Line up for the March will begin at 12:30pm and it steps off at 1:00pm. We will be marching to the Common Ground at Rotary Park in Sayville, where the Pride Picnic will take place. We will have community organizations from both Nassau and Suffolk County along with craft vendors, face painting, and local food vendors serving hot food and cold drinks.
