RRP Is Pleased To Announce That Plan B Is Now Available Over-the-Counter

For the first time in years, consumers 18 and over will be able to purchase emergency contraception (EC) without a prescription. In August, the Food and Drug Administration announced that it would allow over-the-counter access to Plan B brand EC pills to adults. Finally, shipments have started going out to pharmacies and it has been reported that Plan B packaged for OTC sales is already in stock in New York pharmacies.
Adults will need to show proof of age to obtain the pills. Minors will still need to obtain a prescription.
