COVID-19 Contact Tracing Protections in New York State
Contact tracing is a key public health strategy. For contact tracing to work, the public must have complete faith that their personal information will remain private and confidential and that it will not be misused or shared inappropriately. New York has enacted several protections for individuals participating in COVID-19 contact tracing to ensure that contact tracers meet cultural and linguistic compentency requirements, and to ensure that your information is confidential and secure.
