Letter to NY Leadership: Stand Firm on Bail Reform
The New York Civil Liberties Union, along with several other civil rights groups and faith leaders, penned a letter to Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and Speaker Carl Heastie, urging them to reject any measures to roll back the historic bail reforms that went into effect in New York on January 1, 2020.
The NYCLU stands firm with other civil rights and faith leaders in calling for no changes to bail reform.
