ICE Out of Long Island: March for Humanity

Join the March for Humanity in Hempstead on May 1st. Stand in solidarity for workers’ rights, immigrant dignity, and a community free from ICE detention. For too long, the Village of Hempstead and so many other towns on Long Island have seen significant documented constitutional rights violations and collaboration between village officials and ICE. This partnership has created a climate of fear, mass deportations and families torn apart in their own backyard. On International Worker’s Day, Friday, May 1st, we are marching for humanity, to keep families together, and to drive ICE out of our communities for good.
