New Yorkers Against ICE Rally

Join the NYCLU on Thursday, September 25 from 6 – 8pm at Foley Square for a rally hosted by Indivisible Brooklyn. Neighbors, faith leaders, union members, community groups, activists and civic organizations are coming together to say NO to ICE, NO to Trump’s gang of federal agents, and NO to federal troops in NYC. Rogue actors are kidnapping our neighbors, restricting our liberty, and invading our cities. New Yorkers will stand up for immigrant communities in the face of federal abuse, and we expect our elected officials at the state and city levels to do the same.

With this action, we will stand together to:

• Say NO ICE’s practices at 26 Fed Plaza and beyond.
• Say NO to federal troops in NYC.
• Say YES to New Yorkers protecting New Yorkers: call on state and local lawmakers to use all their powers to protect immigrant communities from federal attacks, including passing New York for All and raising revenue to protect communities.
• Say YES to an a safe, affordable and free New York City.

Donald Trump does not care about the safety of our cities. He has cut federal funds for public safety, public health and housing. He’s spending our tax dollars on deporting working mothers and fathers, while he gives billionaires more power and control over our lives. He’s deploying the National Guard instead of providing funding for crime prevention, community needs, affordable housing and healthcare. We must come together as New Yorkers to say NO.
