City Officials and Advocates to Rally, Demand Mayor Defend Immigrant New Yorkers at House Hearing on Sanctuary Cities
On Wednesday, March 5 at 9 a.m., an hour before New York City Mayor Eric Adams testifies at a hostile U.S. House hearing on sanctuary cities, the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU), elected officials, and immigrants’ rights advocates will rally in support of the city’s well-established and successful sanctuary policies, and to demand Adams defend immigrant New Yorkers in the face of President Trump’s cruel and destructive mass deportation agenda.
The event will also be live-streamed.
