2026 State of the Students Summit

The State of the Students Summit is a day-long conference organized by the NYCLU’s Teen Activist Project. It will bring together high school students from across NYC to address their hopes and fears under the current administration, featuring local officials and policy/legal experts as speakers. This event provides a unique opportunity for students to engage with their peers on pressing issues and develop their leadership skills. Special remarks will be given by NYCLU Executive Director Donna Lieberman and NYCPS Supervising Superintendent of High Schools Dr. Alan Cheng. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
