Support Trans Students at Massapequa BOE Meeting

Come stand in solidarity with affected LGBTQIA+ students and their families at the Massapequa School District Board of Education Meeting at 8pm on Thursday January 8th. Supporters will gather early to ensure seats are available near the front of the auditorium. Folks’ presence is to offer a visual display of support and to send the message that the Nassau community stands with LGBTQ+ students. Only residents are allowed to speak and it is very important that supporters do not boo the opposition to not play into the opposition’s false narratives. A debrief space will be available on Friday at 12:30pm with a zoom link to follow.
