Comments in response to the Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking pursuant to New York General Business Law section 899-ee et. seq., the Child Data Protection Act

The New York Child Data Protection Act will provide much needed online privacy protections for young people, allowing them to spend time learning and playing online without putting their personal data at risk. The law’s stronger privacy protections for young people are an important first step on the road to universal baseline privacy protections that ensure that everyone regardless of age has meaningful control over their personal information online.
