Ari Conte

Ari joined the NYCLU in August of 2019 and is a Development Officer, leading on Artist Engagement. She is a theater producer and performer passionate about bringing women driven stories to the stage. She founded the NYCLU Artist Ambassador Program, is the Executive Producer of NYCLU’s annual Sing Out for Freedom concert and oversees the 2023-2024 Artist in Residence program funded by Creatives Rebuild New York. She also serves as the Executive Producer of the SheNYC Arts New York Theater Festival and she is a Co-Producer on the Broadway musical, SUFFS by Shaina Taub.

In the past she has assisted on productions such as Dear Evan Hansen (Broadway), The Greatest Showman (FOX), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon) and Tick Tick…Boom! (Netflix) as a Producer’s Assistant. Her one woman show, The Women We Carry, premiered at The Green Room 42 in NYC in June 2019 and recently in Massachusetts. In March 2023 Ari was named a “Women to Watch on Broadway” by the Broadway Women’s Fund.
