Ify Chikezie (she/her) is a Staff Attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union. During law school, Ify interned with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Neighborhood Defender Service, and Minority Rights Group International. She also supported the Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic’s efforts to end solitary confinement in Connecticut, and worked with the Transitions Medical-Legal Partnership to help serve the health and social needs of individuals released from incarceration. Ify earned her B.A. from Yale College, her MPH from the Yale School of Public Health, and her J.D. from Yale Law School.
