Mohamed Taguine

Mohamed Taguine is a communications strategist for the New York Civil Liberties Union, where he focuses on developing and implementing communications plans to advance the NYCLU’s policy and advocacy goals.

Prior to joining the NYCLU team, he worked as the communications strategist with the ACLU of North Carolina, developing communications plans, managing the affiliate’s social media and website, and building relationships with reporters. Previous work experience includes Democracy Now!, the non-profit World Education Services, and different internships at the United Nations. Mohamed is also a senior fellow with the NYC-based educational organization Humanity in Action.

Mohamed received his B.A. and M.A. in political science and international affairs from Sciences Po Paris in 2015 and a certificate in Arabic from Qatar University in 2016. He is originally from France with roots in Morocco and Algeria.
