2019 Annual Report

Over the course of 2019, the NYCLU worked to achieve some important victories: reforming New York’s criminal legal system, protecting immigrants from Trump’s deportation machine, taking steps to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline, advancing reproductive rights, and much more. We saw the passage of 30 NYCLU-supported legislative measures, filed 27 lawsuits and amicus briefs, and mobilized tens of thousands of volunteers and activists to get involved in our advocacy efforts.
