Letter to Governor Hochul on Equitable Access to Health Care
At a moment in time where so many cannot access the care they need, New York must do better. If the 340B carveout remains in place, New York’s most vulnerable, including disproportionately immigrant New Yorkers and LGBTQ New Yorkers, will be pushed out of the health care system. Safety-net providers statewide stand to lose $240 million per year.
The NYCLU stands with safety-net providers in urging Governor Hochul to reverse the 340B carveout immediately.
