Spanish Translation Of Teenagers, Health Care And The Law Now Available!

The new Los Cuidados de Salud de los Adolescentes y la Ley, like the first edition, clarifies minors’ rights under New York and federal law to make their own medical decisions. The changes reflect years of feedback from workshops, intake calls and evaluations through our ongoing collaboration with young people, providers and advocates. The second edition includes new sections on:

• schools and confidentiality;
• sexual assault care;
• emergency contraception;
• child abuse reporting; and
• minors in foster care.
