Sign-On Letter: The New York Health Information Privacy Act

The NYCLU, along with several civil rights organizations; reproducive health, rights, and justice groups; LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations; privacy advocates; and consumer protection groups, wrote a letter urging New York State Leadership to pass the New York Health Information Privacy Act. This bill would allow for stronger privacy protections for New Yorkers against the improper use of their electronic health data.
